Property Network Supporting Oxfam

If you've been reading our community page previously, you will know that our Sales Manager, Jane Pryor, is participating in yet another gruelling and demanding event to raise funds for a very worthy cause.  This year, the cause is eradicating poverty through Oxfam and the money raised goes towards reducing poverty around the world in many diffferent and unique ways.  Head to the Oxfam website to find out more about how donations are used.

For the second year in a row (last year it was the Kokoda Challenge) Jane's team, Jay Cees, a serious team of four women, are dedicating a large portion of their lives (and their family's), to prepare for this event right now.

On 16 - 18 June 2017, the Jay Cees will walk 100km through Mounts Glorious, Nebo and Coot-tha in Brisbane over 30 hours in all weather and no sleep.   Yes, they've decided again that it is just better to keep going straight through the night rather than having a sleep during the night and Jay Cees, really need your donations now.

Here are just some of the things Jay Cees are experiencing to do this event.

  • blisters;
  • walking in torrential downpours;
  • personal challenges (height phobia seems to be common);
  • knees that lock up;
  • tiredness beyond belief;
  • lack of sleep (training mornings start at 3.20am);
  • time away from families.

Please make a donation directly to the Jay Cees. The link is just below.
